Requirements to become an Accredited Trainer (AT)
An Accredited Trainer (AT) is expected to fulfill the following prerequisites:

Accreditation Process for Trainers
1. Trainers applies for accreditation by submitting an application form, with evidences
The trainer applies for accreditation by submitting an application form with evidences, either at contact@lassibsociety.org or at the headquarters. Click here to download the application form.
2. LASSIB evaluates trainer’s application and verifies the evidence provided
The Director, Accreditation and his team evaluates the trainer’s application from and verifies the evidence provided. Most of the verification and validation happens over the e-mail and phone to keep cost low for all parties.
3. Does information provided satisfy requirements?
If the application meets all requirements, proceed to Step 6; else proceed to Step 4.
4. LASSIB requests additional information and/or evidence
If the application does not meet all requirements, additional information and/or evidence is requested from the trainer
5. Trainer answers all queries and provides required updates
Trainer answers all queries and provides required updated via e-mail or by posting information to the headquarters.
6. Undertake physical verification
A physical verification is undertaken through a local auditors by LASSIB. These auditors visit the trainer and verify and validate all information provided. The trainer bears the cost for the auditors travel, or alternatively arranges for their local travel
7. Does physical verification satisfy requirements?
If the physical verification meets all requirements, proceed to Step 10, else proceed to Step 8.
8. Request changes
If certain requirements are not met, LASSIB will formally request changes with the trainer.
9. Trainer makes required changes
Based on the changes requested, trainer makes alterations as required, that will be verified during the next physical verification (Step 6).
10. Undertake trainer(s) quality check
The final step is the trainer’s quality check. LASSIB Master Black Belts attend a real/mock training program conducted by the trainer, to ensure that the quality of training meets the required standards. As required trainers are trained by LASSIB Master Black Belts.
11. Do trainer(s) meet requirements
If trainer(s) meet requirements, proceed to Step 14, else proceed to Step 12.
12. Request changes
If certain requirements are not met, LASSIB will formally request changes with the trainer.
13. Trainer makes required changes
Based on the changes requested, trainer makes alterations as required, that will be verified during the next check (Step 10). These changes could include training and certification of trainers with LASSIB.
14. Trainer registers as an Accredited Trainer with required fees
Once all checks are done and LASSIB gives a go ahead, the trainer registers as an Accredited Trainer by depositing the required fees.
15. Accredited Trainer certificate is dispatched to Accredited Trainer
The Accredited Trainer certificate is dispatched to Accredited Trainer by e-mail and post.

Delivery Process for the Accredited Trainer
1. Register trainees for training and/or certification program
The Authorized Trainer (AT) registers trainees for the training and/or certification program.
All training fees and certification fees should be collected in the name of ‘Lean and Six Sigma International Board’.
2. Collect fees in the name of LASSIB, dispatch fees to LASSIB
The AT has to collect the fees for training and/or certification in the name of ‘Lean and Six Sigma International Board’, and dispatch it to LASSIB
The minimum fees that should be charged per trainee for a training program is:
The maximum fees to be charged per trainee, can be decided by an AT depending on the costs involved.
3. Fees received
LASSIB receives the fees from the AT.
4. Use training material as provided by LASSIB
The AT should use the training material as provided by LASSIB. Any additional material used is a welcome.
5. Dispatch examination papers if paid for certification
LASSIB dispatches latest examination papers to the AT, once a training program is announced.
6. Use accredited trainers
The AT should posses a minimum qualification to undertake the training. Please refer below for more information.

7. Deliver training
The AT delivers the training to the trainees.
8. LASSIB dispatches training fees to AT
LASSIB dispatches the training fees to AT, within 10 calendar days of completion of the training program.
9. Dispatch training certificates to AT
LASSIB dispatches the training certificates to AT.
10. Certificates are delivered to trainees
Training certificates are then delivered to the trainees by AT.
11. Conduct examination
The AT conducts the examination using the examination papers sent by LASSIB.
12. Dispatch answer papers and fees to LASSIB
The AT dispatches the answer papers and applicable fees to LASSIB, through post / courier.
13. LASSIB evaluates and declares results
LASSIB evaluates and declares the results to the trainees, keeping the AT informed.
14. LASSIB dispatches certificates and examination fees to AT
LASSIB dispatches the certificates to the AT. The AT is further responsible to deliver the certificates to the trainees.
LASSIB also dispatches the service fees to the AT within 10 calendar days of the completion of the examination.
15. Certificates are delivered to trainees
Certificates are then delivered to the candidates by AT.
16. Candidate registers for + certification
Candidate register for the + certification i.e. the interview with LASSIB. The process from here is as in the detailed process flow.
17. Request feedback
LASSIB requests for feedback from the trainees online or over the phone.
18. Trainees provide feedback
Trainees provide feedback, if possible in detail.
19. Initiate corrective and preventive actions
LASSIB and AT initiate corrective and prevention actions as required.
